System Requirements for Smart History
- PHP4 or above on the hosting server
- PHP needs safe mode turned off as it requires use of Source Guardian or Ioncube to run the PHP scripts
- The PHP scripts need to be able to run under permissions of 777 (drwxrwrwx) from within the acatalog folder
- MySQL database access on hosting server
- Actinic Catalog, Actinic Business or Actinic Developer or Actinic Business Multi-User (version 7, may work on other versions)
- Execution of CGI essential
- There are two steps involved in installing a plugin, 1) Installation of the plugin on the server and 2) Adding code into your Actinic templates
- Installation of the plugin on the server requires a working knowledge of script installation, unix permissions, setting up a MySQL database and FTP transfers
